Disclosed is an aqueous polyurethane obtained by reacting a sulfonate containing a hydrophilic group represented by the following general formula (1):
(in which M represents an alkali metal atom or an ammonium, and p represents an integer of 2 to 20)
and an amino group with a polyurethane prepolymer having an isocyanate group at an end thereof, characterized in that the hydrophilic group represented by the general formula (1) bonds with a urea bond moiety of the polyurethane.
