PHASE CORRECTION APPARATUS OF PHASED ARRAY ANTENNAS AND ITS METHOD

A phase correction apparatus of phased array antennas and a method thereof are provided to correct phase error existing in transmitting and receiving phased array antennas, thereby maximizing antenna performance. A receiving phased array antenna(11) receives a microwave signal from a reference antenna and combines the signal with power. A power distributor(12) distributes the power combined with the microwave signal in the receiving phased array antenna. A voltage detector(13) detects a voltage value of the microwave signal distributed from the power distributor. A controller(14) controls phase of each radiation element of the receiving phase array antenna by using phase error. The receiving phase array antenna comprises a phase shifter(112) and a power coupler(113).
