The connector (1) has a base plate (2) that is circular in cross-section and made of plastic. A multi-disk contact (3-5) is arranged coaxial to the base plate. The multi-disk contact has a slot (36) in a longitudinal direction and a protruding projection (21) at the base plate. The projection is deformed after mounting the multi-disk contacts at the base plate in such a manner that the projection protrudes over a rod (37) of the multi-disk contacts after its deformation.
