The invention relates to the graphitization processes of products from carbon materials and can be used in the production of electrode articles and other graphitized products. The graphitization process of the electrode half-finished products comprises core formation from the electrode half-finished products and core charge, coating of the layer of heat insulating furnace-charge around the core and graphitization. Alongside the core longitudinal lateral surfaces before the coating of the layer of the heat insulating furnace-charge the baffle plates from the fibrous heat insulating material are fixed. The proposed invention allows significant decreasing of energy demands to every graphitization campaign in comparison with the traditional method, decreasing of duration campaign and increasing the final production quality.
