OPTICAL FILM HAVING A GRADED INDEX OF REFRACTION AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

An optical film having a graded index of refraction and a fabricating method thereof are provided to adjust porosity of a mesoporous material, thereby a desired effective refraction index and obtaining antireflection performance even in an area having wide incident wave and incident angle. An optical film includes a filling material inside porosities of a mesoporous material(1). An antireflection film(20) of a reflection index n2 and an antireflection film(30) of a reflection index n3 are sequentially laminated on an antireflection film(10) of a reflection index n1 in the optical film. The respective antireflection films adjust a volume ratio of the mesoporous material to the filling material to obtain a desired refraction index. The refraction indexes of the antireflection films are sequentially reduced in the optical film.
