Bumper support cooperating with automobile headlight supports

The support (6) has a body (12) extended along a transversal direction between automobile headlight supports (2), where the body presents an upper support surface (16) for supporting a skin of a bumper (8). Two brackets (24) e.g. spring leaf, cooperate with a reception unit provided in the supports (2) in order to maintain and support the bumper with respect to a body structure (1) of a motor vehicle. The brackets are connected to a cross end of the body. The body includes an energy absorption element (14) for absorbing frontal shock in the vehicle.
