<p>The evaporator has a housing (4) surrounding an interior space (40), and provided with an upper housing wall (6) and a lower housing wall (8). A condenser (22) is arranged at the interior space, and comprises condensation zones (22a-22d) which are arranged on top of each other. A collection device (56a) e.g. trough, is arranged at lower ends of the condenser for collecting condensate of the respective condensation zones. A channel (58) e.g. tube, is guided away from the collection device for separate discharging of the condensates collected in the condensation zones. An independent claim is also included for a method for separating material mixtures in a shortcut evaporator.</p> |
