摘要 A mobile communication system and a distance measuring method thereof are provided to make the accurate distance measurement possible by using the LFM(Linear Frequency Modulation) method when measuring the distance of a communication device. A mobile communication system comprises the first node and the second node. The first node comprises the first transmitter and the first receiver. The second node(100) comprises the second receiver(140), a frequency synthesizing part(130), a digital unit(110) and the second transmitter(120). The digital unit compares a generated internal signal with a received distance measurement signal, and then calculates the time up to the recognition after the distance measurement signal is received. The second transmitter transmits the distance measurement signal, including information about the response time of the second node, to the first receiver.
