The invention relates to power machine-building and is intended for provision of uniform tightening threaded joints used in set of installations with high varying pressure, like boilers, reactors, steam generators, refrigerators and others. A method for tightening threaded joints is in fact that at loading rod elements of threaded joints (pins, rods, bolts and screws) with stretching force elastic deformations are formed, those bring to existence changes of dimensions of those rod elements in axial direction, thus elongation, this leads to formation of gaps between support end surfaces of threaded elements (heads, bolts, screws, nuts) and surfaces of elongation turned to those. In gaps formed one places compensators thickness of which is taken as equal to given value of elongation, this is controlled in process of elongation of rod elements. In this method there is no need in creation of torque applied to one of threaded elements of joint, thus there are absent rotary deformations of threaded rods, this excludes formation of tangent (shift) tensions and provides equality of tightening forces, this is one of most important conditions of reliable operation of threaded joints of equipment. |
