摘要 The apparatus includes a heated flow path 4 to heat liquid flowing there through and a depressurizing means 22 downstream of the heated flow path. The depressurising means causes a pressure difference between liquid flowing through the heated flow path and leaving the depressurizing means. The liquid leaves the depressurizing means at or above boiling point, but is prevented from boiling within the heated flow path. The apparatus may alternatively include a liquid supply, a dispensing outlet, electrical heating or cooling means and control means to vary the temperature of liquid dispensed. An internal surface of the outlet may be coated with a scale-inhibiting material. A number of different outlet portions may be interchangeably connected to the dispensing outlet. Means for removing liquid between the heating or cooling means and the outlet may be provided. An operational status indicator, filter, safety lock, dispensing actuator, additive mixing means or liquid pre-heater may also be provided. A further alternative is a liquid sterilizing apparatus with two reservoirs.
