An artist's paper stretching board comprising a board 1 with an abrasive margin 3 for supporting the wet paper and four edging strips 2 with an abrasive margin which are placed on top of the paper and held in place with spring clips until the paper is dry and taught. Preferably the board 1 is made from wood, plastic, metal or any combination of these materials. The abrasive surface 3 may comprise a waterproof adhesive scattered with fine grains or grit. The stretcher board enables the paper to be released quickly. |
