A semiconductor memory device is provided to reduce dimension of a semiconductor memory device by performing a termination operation and a data mask operation according to an input/output mode by two pads at the same time. A first pad(200) and a second pad(300) are activated in case a semiconductor memory device performs a first operation in a first data input/output mode or performs a second operation in a second data input/output mode. A control part(100) includes a first control part and a second control part. The control part selectively activates the first pad or the second pad in response to a signal for selecting the first data input/output mode, a second data input/output mode, the first operation, and the second operation. The first control part(110) activates the first pad. The second control part(120) activates the second pad. |
