A wired and wireless media home gateway apparatus is provided to connect various home network apparatuses through a wired and wireless network, thereby providing various services such as various broadcast hearing, image processing and telephone call. A settop box module(110) interfaces with a TV through various methods by receiving a digital broadcast. An image processing module(120) receives an analog broadcast or converts/compresses an analog A/V signal inputted from various A/V(Audio/Video) apparatuses into digital data. A processor module(130) packetizes the digital data. And the processor module controls transmission traffic of the digital data. A communication interface module(140) transmits the digital data to the home network apparatus through a wire/wireless network.
