An apparatus for exchanging a hold-down roll is provided to exchange the abraded hold-down roll to new one easily by installing a first and a second roll unit detachably. An apparatus for exchanging a hold-down includes a first and a second roll unit(20,40) having whole outer circumference connected with one end side of the each roll each other in a straight line and covered through the hold-down roll. The first and a second roll unit are combined/separated to exchange the hold-down roll. Therefore, the apparatus decreases necessary time to exchange the roll and danger factors of safety accidents while reducing operating manpower.
