The controller includes a pump driven by a motor and a control unit for controlling a number of revolutions of said mot or and thus of the pump. The motor includes as asynchronous motor. The control unit includes a static frequency converter. The control unit includes sensing members for sensing a motor parameter, and an adjustment unit for adjusting an electric effect supplied to the motor in response to the motor parameter tha t is sensed.
