A message caller information display method in a mobile communication terminal is provided to check caller information when receiving a short message or a multimedia message. A mobile communication terminal receives a short text message or a multimedia message from a caller. The mobile communication terminal displays caller information of the message in a display screen. The short text message or the multimedia message including specific data of the caller are received(S100). Specific data of the caller is extracted from the received message(S110). According to a form of the specific data of the caller, display is performed in the display screen(S120). The specific data of the caller includes a text which the caller sets up in advance.
