An optical film is provided to obtain the optical film without using a phosgene and to perform the uniform polarized light conversion in wide wavelength region and to be useful for anti-reflection filters such as various liquid crystal displays, cathode-ray tubes, touch panels, and electroluminescence lamps, and liquid crystal projectors. An optical film forms a composition which contains a compound having the radical of the chemical formula (A) and has at least two group selected from the group consisting of an acryloyl group and methacryloyl group in a molecule, in a film form, and draws the composition. In the chemical formula (A), B1 and B2 independently show a hydroxyl group, C1-6 alkyl group, C1-6 alkoxy group or glycidoxy group; X shows divalent hydrocarbon group, sulfide group, sulfonyl group, and ether bonding or single bond, wherein the hydrocarbon group can contain -CO-O-, and a1 and 2 independently show an integer of 0 ~ 4.
