A small amount waste food dry treatment apparatus is provided to maximize usage efficiency by effectively drying waste food according to the amount of waste food or the water content of waste food. A small amount waste food dry treatment apparatus comprises: a main body(10) having a door(11) and a drying room(12); a drying box(20) accommodating waste food; and an exhaust pipe(30) exhausting the air inside a drying room with a blower(35) to outside. The waste food inside the drying room is dried in a heater(40) of the main body with generated high frequency. A heating sensing piece is installed in the bottom surface of the drying box to be contacted with the waste food. A heating sensor(S) is installed in the bottom surface of the drying box to be contacted with the heating sensing piece. According to sensing the temperature of the waste food inside the drying box, the drying treatment operation is controlled in the heater.
