The device (2) comprises a first profile (4) with a die for holding the strip of material (8) used to form the skirting board; a second profile (10) having the same shape as the first profile; a lifting device connected to the first or second profile and used to move the profiles relative to each other in order to press the strip into the die; and at least one feed (20) connected to the first profile and used to supply a resin (18) for fixing the angle formed in the strip. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Corner profile, e.g. skirting board, made using this device; and (B) Method for making such a corner profile by placing a strip inside the die in the first profile, applying a layer of resin in the first profile, pressing the first and second profiles together in order to force the strip into the die, curing the resin and removing the finished profile.
