METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING POSITION USING ULTRA WIDE BAND

A position indicating method and an apparatus thereof using an UWB(Ultra Wide Band) are provided to easily find the product by displaying the position of the product on a screen through an UWB communications if one is selected after displaying goods list on a screen. An UWB(Ultra Wide Band) tag(16) stores the identity information by products. An UWB module(11) sends and receives the UWB tag and signal. A memory(12) stores the product information recorded in the UWB tag received in the UWB module. A display unit(14) indicates the product information stored in the memory by list. If one is selected in the product list through a key input unit(13), the display unit indicates the location information of the selected product. A controller(15) performs the control action by extracting the location information of the product in which the UWB tag is adhered in the TDOA(Time Difference Of Arrival) mode by the signal communication between the UWB module and the UWB tag and indicating the location information on the display unit.
