A videophone using a magnetic force is provide to prevent bad connection by a magnetic sensing circuit. A handset(200) includes a magnetic unit(175) including a magnetic force. A videophone main body(100) includes a magnetic sensing circuit(170). The magnetic sensing circuit can sense a magnetic field by a magnetic force of the magnetic unit within a predetermined distance. When the magnetic field is sensed, the magnetic sensing circuit transmits an electric signal of a standby state about the handset to a central processing unit(190). When the magnetic field is not sensed, the magnetic sensing circuit transmits an electric signal of a conversation state about the handset to the central processing unit. |
