The inner frame of the trailer can be pivoted up and down manually relative to the outer frame via the tow bar, once the anchor mechanism used to fix the frames into position relative to each other has been released. Moving the tow bar in an upward direction brings the inner frame to rest on the floor and moving it in a downward direction brings it back level with the outer frame.
