A portable terminal and a group integration management method thereof are provided to integrally manage group information stored in different storage media, thereby integrally managing grouped data. Internal and external memories(162,164) store different group lists. Group lists of the Internal and external memories are compared. According to the comparison result, a controller(180) synchronizes the group lists. If mounting of the external memory is sensed, the controller synchronizes the group list of the external memory with the group list of the internal memory.
