METHOD OF SPEED-UP OF DOMAIN WALL MOTIONS AND MAGNETIC DEVICE USING THE SAME

A method of speed-up of domain wall motion and a magnetic device using the same are provided to improve the average moving speed of domain wall by applying a magnetic field to ferromagnetic nano-wire. A method of speed-up of domain wall motion is characterized in that an additional magnetic field is applied to ferromagnetic nano-wire(20), in addition to an external magnetic field for moving the domain wall the ferromagnetic nano-wire, in order to prevent the deformation of the domain wall. The direction of the additional magnetic field is perpendicular to that of the external magnetic field applied to the ferromagnetic nano-wire.
