An interlocking method between two cameras in an intelligent digital video recording system for coupling a PTZ camera between a fixed camera and PTZ camera is provided to implement more efficient broad area monitoring operation by interworking a camera interval in the intelligent digital video recording system. A digital video recording system is the fixed camera A and fixed camera B, the respective still image is obtained in an intelligent digital video recording system(S101). A pixel coordinates corresponding to the arbitrary feature point is designated in the image of the fixed camera A(S102). In user is the image of the fixed camera B, the pixel coordinate corresponding to the feature point is designated(S103). The digital video recording system stores the pixel coordinates of the feature point designated from user in the form of the correspondence pair(S104). The digital video recording system determines whether the feature point more than 4 was designated from a user(S105).
