An association is provided to suppress the expression of an E-selectin gene which is an adhesion molecule of 115 kDa related to inflammation mechanism, thereby being effective for diabetes, atherothrombotic disease, hypertension, obesity and Alzheimer's disease. An association is the association consisting of one of a compound (A) of the formula (I) which is an optical isomer form or is not this form or pharmaceutically allowable salts, and one of an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor or pharmaceutically allowable salts. The compound(A) is terutroban. The angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor is the perindopril of the formula (B) or pharmaceutically allowable addition salt having acid or base.
