METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PLAYING CONTENTS IN IPTV TERMINAL

A method for reproducing video contents in an IPTV terminal and an apparatus therefor are provided to reproduce the video contents after searching the video contents related to an audio file. A method for reproducing video contents in an IPTV terminal comprises the followings: a reproducing unit(210) reproducing an audio file; an extracting unit(220) extracting meta data; a searching unit(230) searching the video contents related to the audio file; a receiving unit(240) receiving the searched video content; a synchronization unit(250) synchronizing the audio file in the video contents; and a reproducing unit reproducing the synchronized video contents.
