The invention concerns a modelling method particularly applied to an electric network connecting an electric power supply source to at least one electrical member (A) via electrically conductive elements. Said method consists in defining a system of coupled equations including for each conductive element (14), thermal and electrical equations describing a time variation respectively of the thermal and electrical behaviours of each conductive element (14); resolving the system of coupled equations to obtain, for each conductive element (14), a temperature of said conductive element (14) at one given time.
