A skutterudite thermoelectric material and method for manufacturing the same is provided to realize excellent thermal conduction characteristic by making indium filled into an aperture of an inner lattice. A skutterudite thermoelectric material and method for manufacturing the same is comprised of the steps: Inserting cobalt, an antimony, and indium into the quartz tube and making it air-tight; Heating the inserted material by high frequency induction electricity and melting it; performing a vacuum heat treatment to make the raw material uniform and fill indium into the aperture.
