A battery pack is provided to effectively put out the fire due to the abnormal operation of a battery without separate spray device and temperature measurement device, by installing a tube accommodating a plurality of capsules filled with fire-extinguishing chemicals, in the space between battery cells. A battery pack(100) comprises a plurality of cylinder-type battery cells(110) including an electrode assembly consisting of two electrodes and a separator, and a can accommodating the electrode assembly. The battery pack comprises a plurality of tubes(130) containing a plurality of capsules(150). The extinguishing chemicals are at least one selected from the group consisting of calcium carbonate, monoammonium phosphate, and halogen compound. |
