摘要 <p>The continuous solvolysis process for worn vehicle tires, comprises separately treating the tires by dispersion under a non-oxidant atmosphere at 300-450[deg] C using a hot heavy oil to obtain an oil supplied with dissolved organic matter, gas and residue. The oil has a density of 0.85-1.05, a hydrocarbon content of 90% with a boiling point of larger than 320[deg] C, and an aromatic compound of 55-75 wt.% for a fraction of 350-550[deg] C. Time of contact between the heavy oil and tire is 15-90 minutes. The heavy oil (20%) is recycled as a liquid (3) of the protection zone (2) and evacuation zone (18). Mass ratio of the heavy oil to the tires is greater than 2. The oil is a heavy fuel, a vacuum gas oil, a hydrogenated castor oil, an engine oil and/or an oil released from polymeric material. An independent claim is included for a device for treating the tires by solvolysis.</p>
