ALLOCATION METHOD OF PILOT SUBCARRIERS IN MIMO SYSTEM

An allocation method of pilot subcarriers in a MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Out) system is provided to optimize a pilot overhead by allocating pilot subcarriers according to the number of antenna. A frame structure is provided, and includes a plurality of OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols remaining on a time domain and a plurality of subcarriers remaining on a frequency domain. A first pilot subcarrier about a first antenna and a second pilot subcarrier about a second antenna are alternately allocated on the time domain and the frequency domain, are arranged on the frequency domain into an interval of nine subcarriers, and are allocated in two OFDM symbols which are adjacent.
