ALLOCATION METHOD OF PILOT SUBCARRIERS IN MIMO SYSTEM

An allocation method of pilot subcarriers in a MIMO(Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) system is provided to perform a mapping of data to sub-channels regardless of increase of the number of a transmitting antenna. A frame structure is provided, and includes a plurality of OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) symbols remaining in a time domain and a plurality of subcarriers remaining in a frequency domain. A first pilot subcarrier about a first antenna and a second pilot subcarrier about a second antenna are alternately allocated in at least one domain among the time domain and the frequency domain, are arranged on the frequency domain into an interval of the subcarriers, and is allocated in adjacent two OFDM symbols.
