The device has a reception housing for receiving an air intake unit. The housing is defined by a wall (31) constituting a part i.e. rear hatch (12), of a body shell (10) of a motor vehicle. The wall has a front sliding zone to slide the air cushions and a rear separating zone to separate the air cushions during displacement of the vehicle. The housing has an air intake slit arranged in the sliding zone and slightly arranged in upstream of the separating zone. The slit is provided at interior of a passenger compartment of the vehicle, to introduce the air to rear of the passenger compartment.
