PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly retrieve desired content in an information processing device and an information display method. SOLUTION: An authentication function 221 authenticates a PDA through a network. A content database 224 holds the condition of use of content and content information. A communication function 225 controls the condition of use of the content and the reception of the content information transmitted from the PDA. A content management function 222 updates the condition of use and the content information both held by the content management function 222 according to the received condition of use and content information.
