PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device integrated on a silicon substrate, achieving optical functions. SOLUTION: The optical device having a light adjusting structure adjusting the light passing through a waveguide comprises an integrated body of a crystal substrate and a crystal body in a different material from the substrate, and is characterized in that an optical waveguide is formed in one material and a light adjusting structure optically integrated with the optical waveguide is formed in the other material.
