PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper which reliably separates urine and stool discharged by a wearing person from each other and absorbs and holds them thereby effectively preventing a situation where the urine and the stool are mixed together. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper is provided with an absorptive body 22, a top sheet 18 and a back sheet 20. On both sides of the top sheet 18, three-dimensional gathers 26 being leakage prevention walls which can be erected three-dimensionally are formed along the longitudinal direction. Moreover provided is a urine/stool separation wall 48 where the side of one end 54 is connected to the three-dimensional gathers 26 and the side of the other end 56 is superposed on the top sheet 18 to partition a space on the top sheet 18 into the side of a front body portion 2 and the side of a rear body portion 6. In the urine/stool separation wall 48, both end portions in a width direction on the side of one end 54 in the longitudinal direction are formed to be wider than the side of the other end; the end portions are connected to the gathers 26 from above the gathers; the end portion in the longitudinal direction on the side of the other end 56 is superposed on the top sheet 18.
