LOWER MEMBER STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lower member structure of a vehicle manufactured by molding capable of securing sufficient rigidity in an escape part formed for preventing interference between an engine and a transmission ET, and thereby preventing a situation where early breakage occurs at a location of the escape part during a front collision. SOLUTION: A lower member 12 is divided into a front piece 18 and a rear piece 19 and separately formed by molding with the front side position of the escape part 17 for preventing interference between the engine and the transmission ET as a boundary. Both the pieces 18, 19 are welded to each other. The welding is performed in a state of a location of the escape part 17 of the rear piece 19 being closed from below by a partitioning wall 18b extended from the front piece 18 to the rear to form a closed sectional structure.
