<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat alkaline primary battery which has a high battery voltage inexpensively and is durable for long-term usage, and to provide a manufacturing method for the flat alkaline primary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The flat alkaline primary battery 1 has a positive electrode can 2 and a negative electrode can 3. The negative electrode can 3 is fitted into a round opening 2a of the positive electrode can 2 from an opening 3a side where a gasket 4 is mounted, and a sealed space is formed between the positive electrode can 2 and the negative electrode can 3 via a gasket 4 as the opening 2a of the positive electrode can 2 is sealed by caulking toward the gasket 4. A positive electrode mixture 5, a separator 6, and a negative electrode mixture 7 are stored in the sealed space, and the positive electrode mixture 5 at a positive electrode can 2 side and the negative electrode mixture 7 at a negative electrode can 3 side are stored and disposed by sandwiching the separator 6. Alkaline electrolyte solution is filled up in the sealed space. Before molding the positive electrode mixture into a tablet, an aqueous sodium hydroxide solution as an alkaline electrolyte in advance is mixed by 0.5% or more and 4% or less to the mass of the positive electrode mixture. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
