<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor which verifies circuitry including a peripheral circuit while protecting the secrecy of a circuit requiring security appropriately, and to provide an image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: A copying apparatus 1 receives predetermined encrypted image data at the time of verification and processes the encrypted image data at an ordinary image processing section 13, decrypts the encrypted image data at the decrypting section 31 of a forgery detecting section 15, and detects whether the decrypted image data is forgery prevention image data or not at a forgery prevention detecting section 33. When the forgery prevention detecting section 33 detects that the image data is forgery prevention image data, the ordinary image processing section 13 performs preset forgery prevention image processing on the input image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
