PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where, even if image formation is performed with a wax-containing pulverized toner having a low circularity, the adhesion of the toner is reduced, the retained toner can be reduced, the squeaking phenomenon of a blade is suppressed, and cleaning properties are excellent. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a pulverized toner at least containing a resin, a color material and a release agent component, also, the range of the space ratio measured by a torque measuring method using a conical rotor is 52 to 58%, the range of toner torque is 1.0 to 2.5 mNm, and the exposure amount WA(%) of the release agent in the toner, the toner torque T (mNm) when the space ratio measured by a torque measuring method using a conical rotor is 58% and the pipe thickness t (mm) of an image carrier all satisfy following inequalities (1) to (4): inequality (1) 45≤WA≤60, inequality (2) 2*WA-40≤50*T≤2*WA+5, inequality (3) 1.2≤t≤2.0, and inequality (4) 40*T-70≤15*t≤40*T-22.
