PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Faraday rotator apparatus in which leakage of a magnetic field is reduced even when a large Faraday rotator is used, thereby reducing malfunction of appliances and the electromagnetic force applied on surrounding bodies. SOLUTION: The Faraday rotator apparatus has the plurality of Faraday rotators which support Faraday element at the central part of a cylindrical electromagnet having openings on both ends, control the magnetic field applied on the Faraday element with the electromagnet, and control a polarization face by Faraday effect, and the plurality of Faraday rotators are closely arranged in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction of incident light in a way that the directions of the magnetic field at the openings of the adjacent Faraday rotators are reversed to each other.
