PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a braid like product with suppressed flexibility (change of outer diameter), in a preferable productivity. SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a circular knitting machine 2 carrying out circular knitting of yarns 11 to knit a braid 12, a through hole through which the braid 12 discharged from the circular knitting machine 2 passes, a heat treatment mold 4 for heat treating the braid 12 in the open hole, a take-up machine 5 taking up the braid 12 passed the through hole, detecting means (sensor 6a, 6b) detecting the difference between the knitting rate of the circular knitting machine 2 and the introducing rate of the braid 12 introduced into the open hole, and feed back controlling means controlling the braid knitting rate of the circular knitting machine 2 based on the result of the detection of the detecting means.
