摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving apparatus has to use a plurality of types of sensors, used for a back sensor, a corner sensor and the like, in which the frequency of a primary vibration mode is changed or an outer diameter is changed. SOLUTION: In an ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving apparatus, one continuous groove is provided to the piezoelectric element adhesion surface of a tubular case with a bottom, a plurality of grooves are provided double or more around the one continuous groove, or a thin portion is provided and a piezoelectric element is stuck to cover the grooves as a whole or partially. Furthermore, a piezoelectric element with the hollowed inside is stuck to the tubular case with a bottom, and another piezoelectric element is also stuck to the hollowed portion.
