PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device which can form an exact image by controlling the amplitude of an oscillating mirror exactly while suppressing the distortion of the image to be formed. SOLUTION: In the image formation device for forming an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body drum by reflecting laser beams by the oscillating mirror, the amplitude adjustment timing of the oscillating mirror is made timing corresponding to a blank area wherein no electrostatic latent image is formed as illustrated in (A) or timing corresponding to a middle printing area wherein the electrostatic latent image is formed only in the middle as illustrated in (B).
