PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plural electrolytic cells type electrolytic water generator which selectively generates electrolytic acidic water of different pH, having desired sterilization ability during electrolytic operation under a fixed electrolysis condition. SOLUTION: In the plural electrolytic cells type electrolytic water generator, a first diaphragm electrolytic cell 10 and a second diaphragm electrolytic cell 20 each having an extraction pipeline exclusive for electrolytic acidic water and an extraction pipeline exclusive for electrolytic alkaline water are disposed in parallel, the extraction pipelines 15a, 25a exclusive for electrolytic acidic water are connected to each other, and the extraction pipelines 15b, 25b exclusive for electrolytic alkaline water are connected to each other. The extraction pipeline 25b exclusive for electrolytic alkaline water, possessed by one of the diaphragm electrolytic cells, the electrolytic cell 20, has a branch pipeline 25b1 connected to the extraction pipeline 15a exclusive for electrolytic acidic water, possessed by the other diaphragm electrolytic cell 10.
