PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe to raise the heel of a foot high by the heel part of the shoe, capable of relieving a user of pain in the foot without impairing the design created so that the foot looks small as much as possible, and permitting the user to walk stably for long time. SOLUTION: The relatively hard tip part 40t of a main sole 40 is located at a region just under the riser area S<SB>k</SB>extending from the front end 9401 of the joint of the metatarsus 910 and the proximal phalanx 901 of the talus 90 in the front of the metatarsus 910 of the person wearing the shoe 1 to the toe 90t, and the main sole 40 also has a relatively soft impact absorbing member 47 in the region just under a loading area S<SB>1</SB>extending from the joint front end 9401 to the metatarsal head part 9101.
