A laminate material (I) has a flexible polymer matrix with an embedded textile support sheet whereby the matrix comprises a crosslinked polyurethane having a textile integrated into it and at least one side of the laminate (I) has a decorative textile face. An independent claim is included for a process for the production of the laminate (I) by application of the reactive starting materials of the polyurethane onto a textile support during the cross-linking by means of an auxillary carrier and bonding of a textile decoarative face with the crosslinking polyurethane layer as soon as the internal strength allows a uniform single-sided embedding without break through of material, followed by complete reaction of the polyurethane layer.
