摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the synchronization state forecasting system of an electric power system and the synchronization state forecasting method capable of forecasting whether a loop-targeted system is in the synchronization state or not even if the synchronization detection relay is not set. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power system is provided with two continuous open points. This synchronization state forecasting system of an electric power system determines the quality of whether one closed-loop point is closed so as to make a closed-loop point or not when the electric power system forms a loop. A computer 13 at a control center obtains a phase difference between one system side forming the loop and the other system side from the other continuous close point. Thereafter, the computer 13 calculates a phase difference between one system forming the loop and the other system, which is also a phase difference at one continuous close point, based on the previous phase difference.
