<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate musical sound closer to the actual played sounds of stringed instruments. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic musical instrument 10 is provided with a waveform memory 31 for storing a string waveform data group 33 including string waveform data obtained by plucking strings of a stringed instrument or vibrating them with a bow and an open string waveform data group 32, including open string waveform data obtained, by making each string vibrate in an open string state by making the stringed instrument body vibrate; a key touch sounding circuit 25 for reading out prescribed string waveform data from the string waveform data group 33, based on given sound pitch to generate musical sound waveform data; an open string sounding circuit 26 for reading out open string waveform data for a prescribed open string from the open string waveform data, based on the given sound pitch to generate open string waveform synthesis data obtained by combining the open string waveform data being read out; and an adder 30 for adding the musical sound waveform data and the open string waveform combined data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
